300MOV (Three Hundred Men of Valor) based on Gideon and the history recorded of him in Judges chapters 6 and 7. Gideon thought very little of himself and was found afraid, hiding in the winepress from the Midianites. Here GOD's angel appeared to him and called him a Mighty Man of Valor. GOD saw Gideon positionally and not contextually. The battle with Midianites was already given to Gideon he just didn't know it yet.

   I can imagine after this experience he was thinking, OK the angel of GOD appeared to me. I have 32,000 men, about 1 to 4.5 against the Midianites, Oh, yeah and GOD is on our side, We should be just fine. Imagine his suprise when the LORD told him to announce to his army that if anyone was afraid they could go home. Wow, only 22,000 packed up and left that leaves me 10,000 or 1 to 14.5 and Oh yeah, GOD is on our side. Then the LORD said "that is still too many". What????? (That is what I would have said) So that you cannot boast in your own strength or abilities, send the 10,000 down to the water to drink. Choose the ones that cup the water to their mouths as opposed to the ones that lap the water by putting their face down to it like a dog would. GOD hand picked 300 men. Roughly 450 Midianites to 1. Insurmountable odds for man but the perfect stage for the power of GOD. (if I am Gideon, right now I am headed back to the wine press).

   What is remarkable is that Gideon must have felt abandoned, at the very least puzzled and I am sure doubting victory as the outcome. GOD didn't just say suck it up and get out there. HE showed Gideon his grace and mercy by sending Gideon with a fellow servant to over hear a dream that confirmed the victory and bolstered Gideon's spirit and the troops. History shows us that by GOD's ALMIGHTY HAND , the Midianites in confusion turned on themselves destroying their own army. GOD only required Gideon and the 300's obedience.

   I've always seen the choice that GOD made of Gideon and the 300 as this. Gideon was usable because he thought very little of himself. Where we are weak, HE is strong. (2Corinthians 12:9-10).

   The 300 cupped the water to their mouths, which gives the picture of someone that is alert and aware of his surroundings. Not allowing opportunity for the enemy to sneak up on him while his head is buried in the water. This may be a stretch, but it makes sense to me.

   I believe for what ever reason (end times, revival, etc.) GOD is choosing 300 Men (awakened, aware) in every city to be used by HIM (stand in the gap) in a mighty way. What HE requires is our obedience and complete trust and faith in HIM.

• Born Again Believer and Follower of KING JESUS who was sent by the FATHER and died on the cross for the sins of the world and was raised on the third day.
• "Servant" not just a casual attendee, in a bible practicing church with solid verse by verse teaching (denomination not important).
• Faithful to GOD and family. Willingness to be accountable and open to other MOV on every level.
• Committed to GOD (spiritual fitness), Family (relational fitness), Fitness (physical fitness) and one another until HIS return or your departure.

Why "Born Again"?
JESUS said "unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of GOD" (John 3:3).
Why a follower of KING JESUS who was sent by his FATHER?
Jesus told his disciples "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6).
Why that HE (JESUS) died on the cross and was resurrected?
We are warned to test all things including the spirits. (Mat.7:15-16),(1 Thess.5:20-22),(Acts 20:29) and (2 Pet.2:1).

Why a servant not just an attendee?
Jesus called us to feed HIS sheep. (John 21:15) and The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. (Matthew 9:35-38)
Why a bible practicing church with solid verse by verse teaching?
You must be well fed to feed others effectively. HIS WORD (the bible) is infallible (2 Timothy 3:16) and should be expounded to gatherings of believers (Hebrews 10:24-25) and shared with the world. (Matthew 28:16-20)
Why denomination not important?
It is only important that you hold to these truths.

1. The Bible is held as the inspired and only infallible authoritative word of God (2 Timothy 3:16)
2. God is eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit (John 14:26, Matthew 28:18, 19)
3. Salvation is the free gift of God to all who will repent of their sins and acceptance of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior is the only way to come into a relationship with God (John 14:6, Ephesians 2:8-9)

Why faithful to GOD?
You shall love the LORD your GOD with all your heart, your mind, and strength!
You shall not create an image or depiction of GOD from your own understanding!
You shall have no other gods before you!,
You shall not take (for granted or lightly) or use (for your selfish gain or flagrently) the NAME of the LORD your GOD!
Why faithful to Family?
You shall honor (give humble adoration in spite of short comings) your Father and Mother!
You shall not commit adultery (destroy what GOD has joined together or contaminate what GOD has made perfect)!
You shall not covet (be dissatisfied or ungrateful with what GOD has given you)!
Why be willing to be accountable to one other on every level?
RR is code for Russian Roulette. Are you playing Russian Roulette with the computer, remote control, box office, video cell phone or PDA, magazines, etc. (lust and covetousness) An MOV should make a covenant with his eyes (Job 31:1). Like the child's song "Be careful little eyes what you see. For the FATHER up above is looking down with love.".
Confess your sins one to another. (James 5:16)
Love Covers a Multitude of Sins (1Peter 4:8)
This is how everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another. (John 13:35)
(Proverbs 27:17) Iron sharpens iron, So one man sharpens another.
Though one person may be overpowered by another, two people can resist one opponent. A triple-braided rope is not easily broken. (Ecclesiastes 4:12)

We count on one another as those on a team each with his own job to do. Every group of ten should have a sort of Gideon and sort of Purah committed to be there at least one of them 6 days a week. To keep the lamps full of oil (pray) and the store houses stocked (read a devotion). Oh yeah and to unlock the doors where you meet. The group can decide their own meeting place and time. We chose to exercise from 5:15am to 5:45am and then meet at 6:00am at TechsRx 6001 Winter Haven Rd. NW Suite D Alb. NM 87120. Not everyone will be able to exercise or meet everyday as that is not always possible, but the more often the better and it takes commitment to accomplish this.
Why spiritual fitness?
Faith is like a muscle and must be exercised. The training regiment includes prayer, bible study and memorization, self discipline (taking your thoughts captive to the obedience of CHRIST), fasting and making yourself available for GOD's use.
Why relational fitness?
GOD has made us stewards of relationships (Husband to Wife, Father to Child, Child to Parent, Employer to Employee, Employee to Employer, Etc.) and we will be held accountable for our half of each of those relationships.
Forgiveness (a shovel and hoe to the roots of bitterness), both asking and receiving is the beginning of healing those relationships that have been damaged.
Why physical fitness?
For a race car to run and win a race it must be well taken care of and fine tuned. So the body is out temple and our vehicle (keep up the maintenance).
"If you have run with footmen and they have tired you out, Then how can you compete with horses? If you fall down in a land of peace, How will you do in the thicket of the Jordan? (Jeremiah 12:5)
Why until HE returns or you depart?
Time is short, even if we live out the rest of our lives on this earth, it will be like a whisper. This commitment transcends time and location. Join us in this journey to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, before the LORD. Prepared for service and united for HIS purpose.
